More Details
Mehrumah tourism complex is an oasis; A moment, a moment next to one of the main and busiest highways in the country.
In terms of form, this building is like a part of the axis of the highway that has come to the side so that the fast beat of the journey can calm down for a moment. In other words, this building is a moment of the travel routine; A moment that has an identity and remains in the mind of the traveler; It is not “impossible” like most of the services on the way; It is a traveler’s shelter. Something from the lineage of Iranian caravanserais. It is “somewhere”; A place that remains in the traveler’s memory beyond the many photos of mobile phones.
The tourist complex of Mehrumah, in “Shehab Publishing Town”, with an infrastructure of 9000 square meters and on 2 floors, first and foremost, is formed in common and public spaces. The most important of this public space is a curved linear “lobby” or “atrium” that connects the two floors of the building and gives the whole complex spatial coherence. This “lobby” is continued in the layers of one floor and in the dividing spaces and restaurants.
The functional diversity of the spaces in the Mehrumah tourism complex is such that this “moment of travel” is rich enough in terms of services and comfort for passengers and in terms of spatial identity. Types of food serving spaces (from classic restaurants to modern fast foods), types of commercial spaces offering reputable brands, well-equipped and decorated health spaces, leisure/cultural spaces such as cafes, exhibitions, bookstores, and prayer halls are among the main types of spaces in the Mehrumah tourism complex. .
The Mehrumah tourism complex is located on a 25,000-square-meter plot of land, which, in addition to significant landscaping (and of course compatible with the climate), includes other service uses, including gas stations, warehouses, support units, and 400 parking spaces.
